Walk and Tone is a unique group fitness program that blends a 5km paced walk with outdoor body conditioning exercises.
We welcome everyone, regardless of their fitness level, as long as they are over 16 years old. Men and women alike can join us. If you’re looking to enhance your health, build strength, and boost your overall well-being, then this workout is tailor-made for you.
Who runs Walk & Tone?
Hello! We are Emma and Victoria, the proud co-founders of Walk and Tone UK. As certified and insured fitness instructors, we assure you that you’re in capable hands.
Our journey began in July 2023, when we launched Walk and Tone in Oxfordshire with the aim of promoting fitness and fostering community spirit. We noticed that many people enjoy walking, so we decided to spice it up by integrating body conditioning stop points to music, transforming a simple walk into an enjoyable group workout.
The experience has been nothing short of amazing. We’ve met wonderful people and realised that there are numerous communities across the UK that could benefit from our program. Our goal is to reach out to these communities, and we invite you to join us on this exciting journey.

Walk & Tone
A combination of paced walking and total body strength training to kick-start your day. Get fit, get sweaty, but most importantly have fun with like-minded people from your local community. Suitable for all fitness levels, open to men and women.
Jog & Tone
Jog & Tone is for those who are wanting to progress from a walk. The session format is usually: light jog, toning stop — light jog, toning stop — light jog, stretch to finish. Sessions last around an hour with 30 minutes jogging interspersed with 30 minutes of strength training.
When & Where
For the year 2024, we’ve planned sessions in and around areas within Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire. Yet, our scope is ever-growing, reaching out to new regions across the UK. The more requests we receive for specific areas, the more likely they are to be included in our upcoming schedule. So keep those recommendations coming in!

Our sessions are exclusively available through bookings. We limit the number of participants in each Walk & Tone session to ensure we can monitor everyone closely and maintain safety. We believe in providing a personal touch, which is best achieved in smaller groups.
